INTRODUCTION
The Impulse 400D is a high-performance yet cost-effective 4K UHD receiver decoder/gateway, supporting MPEG-2/H.264/H.265/AVS+/AVS2 decoding for UHD/HD/SD video and major audio formats. With versatile tuner inputs and multi I/O interfaces, it handles RF signal reception, program descrambling, multiplexing, downscaling, and decoding output.
Featuring IP stream processing and management interfaces, it’s ideal for advanced content distribution, 4K decoding, content remultiplexing, digital signal turnaround, and all-IP headend transmission.

    • Supports T2-MI transport stream decapsulation (optional)

    • Two independent common interfaces support multi-channel descrambling, making the unit compliant with various
      popular CAM modules

    • PSI/SI/PSIP processing and regeneration
    • Supports TS & Service multiplexing and demultiplexing
    • Supports TS & EIT pass-through

    • HDMI2.0, 3G-SDI output
    • SDI output with 2 embedded audios
    • Up to 2 pairs of balanced analogue audio and 2 pairs of unbalanced AES/EBU audio output via DB15 connector (1 by default, 2 is a future option)
    • Up to 2 pairs of unbalanced analog audio output via BNC connector
    • Multicast and unicast broadcasting in LAN and WAN network via two GbE ports
    • GPI alarm output
    • 2 TS over IP output ports
    • 2 ASI output ports

    • 1 Ethernet 10/100Base-TX, RJ45

Softare Versions

The latest SW version of Impulse400D is v1.2.1.

 

Update

Fixed some known issues, including:

  1. DHCP fails on TSIP 1 and TSIP 2.
  2. Memory leaking on dual audio.
  3. WebGUI would have the potential to be abnormal after long term using.

 

Notes

  1. Before upgrading, ensure the unit remains powered and connected to a stable network to avoid boot failures.
  2. For older units or those running outdated firmware, we recommend coordinating your upgrade with Wellav Support (support@wellav.com) to minimize any risk of failure.
