CX2-TXS-00 is an transcoder module that supports transcoding between different video compression standards such as H.265, H.264 and MPEG-2. It is a perfect choice for streaming adaption between different devices in an existing network with enormous legacy devices.

INTRODUCTION
The CX2-TXS-00 is a transcoder module supporting codec conversion across H.265, H.264, and MPEG-2. It features 2 GbE ports, 2 USB ports, and 1 HDMI port: GbE for IP stream I/O, and USB/HDMI for OS installation. This module enables output of programs in target codecs to adapt to diverse decoder terminals or facilitate further transmission. When there are numerous legacy devices in existing networks, the CX2-TXS-00 is ideal for streaming adaptation between different systems.

    • Transcoding between MPEG-2/H.264/H.265, up to 1080p60

    • Seamless integration with 30+ CMP-platform modules for live content transcoding
    • Software-upgradeable to support future video-compression standards

Softare Version

The latest SW versions are 1.5.3-10343.

 

Update

Fixed some known issues, including:

1. Newly add IPV6 feature.
2. Resolved the issue that continue upgrading other module while there’s a module is in the process of upgrade, the upgrade version number of the former module would display V0.0.0.
3. Resolved the issue that the program couldn’t be normally played after set the IP address from unicast to multicast at baseboard IP output..
