INTRODUCTION
The CMP330-96 is a high-density edge QAM modulator engineered to meet the rising demand for HFC network content distribution. It supports high-density IP input, receiving up to 3,072 channels per module, and modulates via 96 QAM channels using powerful multiplexing.
Dual front-panel 10Gb SFP+ ports enable independent/redundant fiber input. The device also supports optional CAS scrambling to expand revenue and deliver customer value. It adapts to diverse system integration needs, ideal for program redistribution.

  • Configure IP inputs to QAM outputs in bypass or multiplexing mode
  • Excellent modulation performance (MER ≥ 40 dB)
  • Sophisticated service multiplexing and PID filtering
  • Supports NIT/BAT editing and LCN allocation for QAM outputs
  • Web-based UI with local/remote monitoring via SNMP traps

Softare Version

The latest SW versions are 1.6.x series.

 

Update

Fixed some known issues, including:

  1. Supported IPv6.
  2. Resolved the issue that continue upgrading other module while there’s a module is in the process of upgrade, the upgrade version number of the former module would display V0.0.0.
  3. Resolved the issue that the program couldn’t be normally played after set the IP address from unicast to multicast at baseboard IP output.

  2. Before upgrading, ensure the unit remains powered and connected to a stable network to avoid boot failures.
  3. For older units or those running outdated firmware, we recommend coordinating your upgrade with Wellav Support (support@wellav.com) to minimize any risk of failure.
